So since Whisper Living's inception, we've explored quite a few products that we ended up scratching, in most cases because we simply didn't believe enough in them. What has been consistent though is our desire to have products that not only give a peaceful touch to your home but also a quiet effect on Mother Earth.
We are pretty thrilled that our cushion inserts are 100% made from recycled PET water bottles. 1,000,000/minute, that's the rate at which PET water bottles are sold globally; pretty sobering. Know that 70 PET water bottles are recycled for each kilogram of our cushion inserts, saving them from ending up in our landfills or our precious waterways.
We also have been using the off-cut fabric from the production of our handmade cushions to make a limited number of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. That way, we reduce our waste and also allow people to get their hands on masks for a really affordable price and have donated masks to local workers in age care.
Going forward we will be looking into more ways that Whisper Living can create not only awareness but share some beautiful products with you that share the same value.
